Hi,I am working to install SQL Server 2005 Express SP2, but I also need reporting service, but I don't know it much. Can I get/enable the reporting service by installing 2005ExpSP2 itself, or I have to install another separate setup to get reporting service? If the later, what setup file should I get (download)? It's urgent, please help! Thanks,PB |

Hmm, I just found that the version 'with Advanced Services' (SQLEXPR_ADV.exe)contains reporting services.I need to run commandline for the installation, does it (SQLEXPR_ADV.exe) take the same command options as SQLEXPR.EXE? I had installed the later before with command, so I wonder if I can use the exact same options for SQLEXPR_ADV.EXE.Thanks,PB |

Hit 'Post' too earlyNow I need to consider the following questions if there already has SQL 2005 Express installed on the system -1) How can I check if reporting services have already been there?2) If no reporting services available, how can I 'add' (install) the services? Can I use 'SQLEXPR_ADV.EXE' to run some upgrade to add the services on top of the existing SQL Express? Thanks,PB |
