| Is it possible to create a SQL 2000 user in a way so that when someone registers the DB in Enterprise Manager they don't even see databases for which they have no access. Basically I want to hide these databases from their view.Currently they can see the databases, but they can't get into them of course, but I don't even want the users to know that these databases exist.thanks, |

| I don't believe there is a way to do this. I know it's been requested from Microsoft. |

| Thanks for the reply. I found elsewhere that you are correct. Kind of annoying, but I sort of understand why it's that way. Oh well. |

Oh that's just GREAT! Now I have to put in a requisition for hot coals and a fire poker. Purchasing is not going to like this... |

Well, as long as you're ordering them, you might as well include a fireplace...should make your cubicle nice and cozy; be the envy of your co-workers! |
