| XP_CMDSHELL only retuns 1 or 0 like all the other XP's. I need to query the OS and have it return the amount of free disk space on my SQL box. Has anyone written any handy TSQL to stick in a job? If not I guess I'll need to work on my own...On another note...Why did MS elect to only have XP's written in C? I know they are DLL's but VB can create DLL's too...DanielSQL Server DBA |
