Hi I am new on replication, I am setting up new merge replication on Sql server 2005 with 13 Gb of DB.I found replication server has 6 GB of distribution of DB MDF file size and 6 GB of LDF.I ran DBCCShrink and worked and shrinked the LDF file to 2MB. but MDF is same. How to run a periodic job so that MDF will also shrink or clean which has distributed on subscribers. Thanks |

Make Sure Distribution Cleanup job is happening in interval you have chosen. |

The job is there while creating replication. Your job should succeed in defined interval. |
