Hello,
For some reason last couple days my windows/panes keep getting reset somehow and I'm getting tired of configuring everytime I open SQL Server 2005...
By saying windows i mean like: Object Explorer, Registered Servers and some other windows..
Sometimes they do not appear or the size of each window is all messed up.

Any ideas are appreciated
Thanks for your help and time,

ScottWhigham

I've not had that happen - very odd. I know that SSMS stores a lot in the C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Shell\SqlStudio.bin file (such as the list of recent servers). I delete that periodically - it's safe to delete; SSMS will create a new one on startup. I wonder if that will help?

Just FYI: deleting that file will clear your recent servers list.

Thanks for your repply ScottWhigham,
I couldn't find SqlStudio.bin anywhere (the path you provided me does not exist on the computer).
Is there any other configuration file that I could delete in order to re-configure?

Thanks for your help and time,
Jaime
