| I can't revert from dbo to Public because one stored procedure usesEXEC 'string'and returns permission denied on the referenced tables.Is there a workaround for this?SamC |

| No. The public role must have permissions on the objects referenced in the string.Can you post the offending procedure? There may be a way to rewrite it to not need dynamic SQL, or at least less of it. |
