| I'm new to building cubes. Can some-one help me to get more information about error messages I get when deploying. The errors in Visual Studio are short and not very helpful. Is there some-where I can see more details about the error? E.g. "errors in OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while processing the '.....' partition of the '....' measure group." |

| this means there was some error in processing the specified partition of a particular measure group. have a look at measure group definition and see possibilities of error |

| Just a guess but maybe check your log files on your server? I have not started building cubes yet but on other Reporting Services errors I have had to get more details in the logs. HTH.John"The smoke monster is just the Others doing barbecue" |
