I've inherited the upkeep of a former employee's SSRS project. I'm looking at a report and in the build output, there are warnings like:
The line line1 and the line line3 overlap. Overlapping report items are not supported in all renderers.

How can I find line1 and line3 on the layout? I don't see anything on the layout that looks like a line, so I'm wondering if it's hidden in some way.

Just in general, is there some way to see a list of objects that are on a report, select one and have it be selected on the layout pane?

Assuming you are using Visual Studio as editor, open Layout View. Default bottom right is your properties box. Defaults to the properties of the report when first opened. (If not open, press F4 or select View Properties Window) Click drop down arrow to right of word Report and select appropriate "piece". Whatever item you select, handles appear on the object componnent. Hope this was clear enough.
