I'm looking for some software to create a wiki for internal use. I would prefer SQL Server as a back end (or postgres if absolutely neccessary).

Cost is also a significant factor (i.e. it has to be free) which suggests open source or similar, given that is the case I would prefer it to be .net preferably vb.net as it would then be easier to integrate with the rest of the infrastructure.

Anyone have any experience of running a wiki or any suggestions of what to look at? What are the pro's and con's you have come across?

thanks in advance

steve

I can't answer your question but I can't resist to say that "Deja Moo" is real cool

No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die.

Hee hee thanks, sadly I can't claim the credit for it.

For posterity and should anyone else be interested we ended up relaxing some of our requirements.

The one that is looking like the favourite is http://info.tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php. It has a few features that we dont currently need but some interest has been shown in them in the past. It looks as though modules can be added later
