Hi, I am new to ssrs.I have a parameter with two choices (y/N)if Yes, another paramter should display a list of student depending upon 1st SQL statements. IF no, it should fill the parameter using diffenrent set of SQL. The choice of 1st affects only (which SQL to run)and the parameter is not used in query.. Please helpI am using SSRS 2008 |

Good morning ilaughforu, I'm not on SSRS 2008 but in SSRS2005 this is a cascading parameter. I find them very useful and easy to set up once you know how. also i dont think you can dynamically change the resultset of dataset for parameter. you need to use two different parameters to get the value and make them cascading to first param with y/n value |
