I have a report, which uses hyperlinks to navigate to other detailed reports. When the hyperlink is clicked by the user, and the linked report generates, I want to create a home button, that will return them to the original report. I know that there is a 'back' button on the toolbar that can be used, but I want to make a link within the linked report instead.Thanks. |

I thought that I had already tried this and failed, but after trying again it has worked.Another question... When I create the hyperlink that takes the user back to the main report, the main report refreshes... Is there anyway that I can stop the report from re-generating everytime the user goes back to that report?? I want the data to be current when it is first opened, but if the user goes to a different report and comes back, I don't need it to refresh. |

well unless there a SaveState property I am not sure how to do that. You could save the whole URL to the sub report in a variable and embed that in the hyperlink of the sub report?<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>If you don't have the passion to help people, you have no passion |
