We lost our local connection to our SQL Server database. All our SQL server services are not started anymore and we can not get them started up again.

How can I restablished my local connection and restart my SQL services? Where do I go for that?

Please help.

Thanks,

Leo

Hello Tara,

I click on your link and I have tried serval your suggestions. but they did not solved my problem. My problem is on the Server itself, where the database is at.

I cannot get sqlserveragent to start and sqlserver services does not appear under the services window.

This is my error message:

A connection could not be established to (LOCAL).

Reason: SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
ConnectionOpen(Connect())...

Please verify SQl Server is running and check your SQL Server registration properties (by right-clicking on the (LOCAL) node) and try again.
