I just installed Reporting services on two computers and configured them (sql server 2008 with advanced services). I've used port 90 on both of them. However when I point browser to http://machine1:90/Reports_SQLEXPRESS, on one machine I see links to 'New Folder','New Data Source', Upload files. On the other machine I don't see it. I am not sure why that's happening. Can someone please help? Thanks in advance. |

Yes, the link is correct. I can change the ports the way I want (90 or usual 80), and it takes me to right page. On XP machine, i can't use port 80. MSDN Docs say so, so I choose port 90. And it works fine. On Windows 7 machine, though, I can use either 90 or 80. The link works fine. But there is no content on page.In Windows 7, I need to log in, though. I am not sure why. And I suspect this is some sort of permissions issue. |
