I setup transactional replication on SQL2005 server to replicate data from SQL2005 and 2000 database. but it drops all table from subscription database then recreate them in stead of just sending new data every time before synchronizing. What did I setup wrong? Please help!! |

1. Are you sure it's transactional not snapshot replication?2. Is it happen with every synchronization or only at first synchronization? You can define if subscrition shuold be initialized and what will happen with initialization (drop and recreate object/truncate data in object/delete data/keep existing object unchanged.apodemus |

That mean new snapshot are generated everytime. I donno about from SQL 2005 -2000 but between 2005 you can snapshot run for only newly created tables. |
