| I want to upgrade my MSDE database with Sp3,but i get message some thing like 'the instance name is invalid...'anyone know why?thank's AllDIJE |

| I am also having some issues with installation of SP3 on MSDE. But i think i might know why you are getting the error message.If you are trying to run the service pack on default installation then leave the service pack parameter as blankeg:Setup.exe /upgradesp SQLRUN INSTANCENAME= SECURITYMODE=SQL UPGRADEUSER=<username> UPGRADEPWD=<password>Regards,Samrat |
