SQL 2000 vs SQL 2005 Driver Question

SQL 2000 vs SQL 2005 Driver Question

Will the following drive work for SQL 2005?

com.inet.tds.TdsDriver

Currently, it is referenced in code which connects to a SQL 2000 system. Our SQL Server has been upgraded to 2005, was hoping the driver still works.

On our small systems, we use that driver. On the bigger systems, we purchase the Merlia driver. The free driver has bugs in it plus doesn't perform as well. But I would think those issues would appear in 2000 too.
