Yes, of course it depends on the hardware.Do you think loading 400GB of data takes equally long time on a brand new 256 core, 1TB RAM server with fibre-channel SAN, than on my 12 year old 386 server with IDE harddrive and 256MB memory? N 56°04'39.26"E 12°55'05.63" |

I thought that requirement of hardware to install SQL Server 2005/2008 is good enough. Yes you are 100% right. What you think or what is your close guess to load 400GB? |
