1. i worked with ssis in my client,
what is the best way to change the DataSource in the
solution when i need to transfer the package from DEV to PRO

2.what is the best way to use job with package? file system or MSDB?

For Item 1 - you can use a package configuration. That can either be a file or a table - depending on how you want to set it up.

For Item 2 - it depends. Either way works, it really depends upon how you want to manage your system. I prefer using MSDB myself, but others like using the file system.

1.i choose to save my Configuration package in xml,the problem is when i need to save muliple packages in one place,how can ido it?


2.i want manage my system in the best and simplicity way.why do you prefer work with MSDB?

I prefer MSDB because it is easier to manage for me since I am a DBA. That's really the only reason.

Each package can have it's own package configuration, or you can have a single package configuration for all. For those variables and items that are not used by a package, they won't be used.
