How do you change this password.

I granted my new colleague with full sysadmin privs. He should be able to just go and change that. Why is he complaining?

Anyone with syadmin permissions can change a sysadmin password. I don't know why your colleague is complaining, maybe ask him. If he's getting an error, the test of the error would be useful

Thanks. That exactly the response I wanted. I know it's true, and I like others' opinions.

It's the IS boss that's complaining. I've finished on their migration, unable to complete because HR staff aren't happy. I can't stand stupid people who prevent me from doing what I'm there to do, and then, of course the blame is all directed to me, making it difficult to fix something when I'm not there anymore.

Prior to your message, I received a 'Many Thanks' response by simply telling the .net developer to use the sysadmin I granted to him to change the password.

Why does a .net developer have a sysadmin login in the first place?
