Hi
I have been tasked to share some business data with other users and it looks like creating data cubes is too much to learn in 1 week. So I plan to create a view showing a flat file representation of single transactions and then manipulate the data in the view using excel pivot tables.
I'd like to share the excel pivot tables so that other users can interact with them.
During my testing I tried to save an excel sheet as web page but when I open it up I cannot drag and drop fields etc. It looks just like a saved picture. I have also heard of something called Exel services. Is this something i could use?
or does anyone have any better suggestions?
Thanks
Sorry i didn't know where to place this posting so i hope it's in the right place.

Excel Services is a very viable option. Very easy to use. In our Sharepoint environment we enable it by folder and then use the Web Parts and filters to allow the users to view/manipulate it right from within the browser. Excel Services only works with Sharepoint.
