| I'm new to SQL and I am running into a problem installing sql2000 standard edition on a win2000 server running SP3. While troubleshooting I found that the installation goes fine when running on win2000 SP2 and than performing the WinSP3 upgrade. However, if server is build with sp3, sql installation fails. I have checked the winnt\sqlstp.log file however it does not tell you why it failed. Does anyone know why the installation fails with Win2000 SP3.Thanks,Jay |
