| I know how to install service pack 3 on all of our database servers, what is the preferred approach for distributing service pack 3 to desktop computers? I assume that service pack 3 should be installed on desktops containing Client Tools only and desktops containing Connectivity Tools only. I also assume that to install the service pack all I need to do is run Sql2ksp3.exe (Database Components). Do I need to visit all desktops or can this be depolyed via a product like SMS?Thanks, Dave |

| I think Active Dirstory can do this type of thing as well, using Group Policies. That's what I've been told anyway.Michael<Yoda>Use the Search page you must. Find the answer you will.</Yoda> |
