Win2k and MSSQL2kWe've been hitting a bottleneck and need to run performance moniter. However when I go to add counters, the SQL counters are not there. On a second server we have, they are there. Is there an option I'm missing?-----------------------SQL isn't just a hobby, It's an addiction

Yes there are some DLLs or maybe database objects (I can't remember exactly) that are missing. There is a MS article that describes how to fix this. I can't remember what causes it, but we have run into this on one server and I had run into this at my last job on a couple more servers. I will see if I can find the article.TaraEdited by - tduggan on 03/05/2003 16:35:37

So far I can only find information on SQL 6.5:http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;227662I remember that we called MS because we couldn't find a knowledge base article and they let us know exactly which one it was. If I can't find it, you might have to call MS for this.Tara
