I have a SQL database that I want to synch to a master database, the database is ready for synchronization but I do not see it in the Windows 7 synch centre.

I read that the following

http://blogs.msdn.com/b/repltalk/archive/2010/03/24/using-windows-synchronization-manager-on-x64-to-synchronize-replication-revised.aspx

The Mobsyc.exe or Sync Manager is always 64bit on 64bit Edition of Windows 7, Windows 2008 & Windows Visa. This means the Sync Manager will not show SQL 2005 32bit Replication Subscribers even if mobsync.exe is executed from the windows\syswow64 folder. However, Sync Manager will list the Replication Subscription for SQL 2008 64 bit Express.

Is there any workaround that anybody has managed?

Has anyone had experience with trying to Sync a SQL 2008 database where the publisher is on a 32bit OS and the subscriber is on a 64bit OS.

I cannot get the entry to be found in the Sync Centre to allow the Sync to work.

The only workaround I can come up with is to export the data to the SQL server where the publisher sits, do the Synch there and have that lot of data export to the SQL subcriber instance.

HI
The way to go is to manually update the HTC drivers from Windows 7, using the Windows Vista drivers. There are two ways you can accomplish this, either by installing the HTC Sync software on a machine running Windows Vista and then copying them from there, or simply getting them right here on Softpedia, in .zip format (both Windows 7 64-bit drivers and Windows 7 32-bit drivers).
