Dear Memberi have a one 100 GB database in sql2005 to active oltp. one erp application access this database.i have install a symantec anti-virus software(version 11) . after this installation their is very slow of this application.so please tell anybody facing this problem and what u can do. |

You need to exclude a few things in the VS Console- \Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\mssql.X- *.mdf- *.ldf- *.ndf- *.trn- *.bakDisable on access scanning too. there's more. see here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/309422edit: i'd put that sniped thing here if i knew how Tara, lol |

we did. it's not a guess. you need to exclude those directories and file types. |
