| Hi, I want to enforce a password in attaching a database in a server.That is, when a user want to attach my database to a new server, it will require a password.Can any one help? |

| Can't be done.If you have SQL 2008 and TDE you can require a certificate or the DB won't attach. Other than that, no possibilities.--Gail ShawSQL Server MVP |
