Hi all,
I've installed SQL 2005 Std. Ed. on a Windows 7 PC.
Everything installed correctly with no errors. My database will be our AS400 via DB2. I connect SQL through a linked server using the IBMDA400 OLE DB Provider. I can make simple SELECT statements and qet results from DB. I can see the tables and views under my linked server. The issue I have is when trying to use the Query Designer. When I open it and try to add tables It comes up empty, without any tables or views for me to choose from. Could this be a bad setup?
Help for this newbee would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advanced.

Try using Query analyser instead of query designer
