 Case Sensitive table name?

When I run the following:

SELECT TOP 100 * FROM GenHistory
SELECT TOP 100 * FROM GENHISTORY


The first query returns 100 rows while the second one generates an error.
Msg 208, Level 16, State 1, Line 2
Invalid object name 'GENHISTORY'.

How come?

Because your collation is case sensitive. It'll require exact matches on the object names including case sensitivity.
