Hello. I'm new to SSIS packages so sorry if this is a stupid questions....

I've got an excel spreadsheet with 10 blank rows at the top which im trying to import into SQL2005. I've used a conditional split to remove the blank rows but now I need to set the first row (previously the 11th row) as the colunm titles before uploading to SQL.

Any suggestions?

Thanks! alex.

Not what you want to hear (read) but...
I would clean the source file before processing, that's the easy way.

No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die.

I was worried that might be the case....It needs to be done once a week and has 30+ worksheets!

I'm thinking the best thing would be to create a temp flat file after the conditional split and then run a second data flow task to do the uploading.
