Hello. I'm new to SSIS packages so sorry if this is a stupid questions....I've got an excel spreadsheet with 10 blank rows at the top which im trying to import into SQL2005. I've used a conditional split to remove the blank rows but now I need to set the first row (previously the 11th row) as the colunm titles before uploading to SQL.Any suggestions? Thanks! alex. |

Not what you want to hear (read) but...I would clean the source file before processing, that's the easy way. No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die. |

I was worried that might be the case....It needs to be done once a week and has 30+ worksheets!I'm thinking the best thing would be to create a temp flat file after the conditional split and then run a second data flow task to do the uploading. |
