Hi everyone. We had an odd problem here last night. One member of our team created transactional replication to an ODS of a table with 60 mil rows. This snapshot completed in 15 minutes. At 10 AM this morning the Log drive on the subscriber was full and the there was appears to be a snapshot of this table rolling back.In the replication monitor it showed the last snapshot as 10:45 PM. There are some filters that were applied, could that have done it? If so, why was the snapshot time not updated? Thanks for any help! |

Make sure the snapshot agent is NOT scheduled. You can even disable it, There is no reason for it to run after the initial run (exept when the distribution fails with fatal error, or you change the publication). |
