| Anyone have any idea on the wait type PREEMPTIVE_OS_GETFILEATTRIBUTES? I can't hardly find anything on the internet about this one.Basically, we set AWE and PAE and since then, are backups are not working. Although we are backing up directly onto a different drive, although that was working fine before.Sometime a Database or 2 will back up fine then the next one seems to hang indefinitely on wait type PREEMPTIVE_OS_GETFILEATTRIBUTES. Then the error message in the log is:The operating system returned the error '64(failed to retrieve text for this error. Reason: 15105)' while attempting 'SetEndOfFile' on '\\Server\sql Backup\Database1.bak'. |
