Hi, I hope that this is not against the rules. I'm learning SSIS and it's coming along nicely but the learning curve is still taking too long. I'd rather pay someone to create an SSIS package for me and then I can learn at my own pace. The package would need to incorporate about 8 product feeds (flat files, CSV & xls), pulled from http, ftp & local drive into our SQL 2008 db.Can anyone do this? My e-mail address is r an do m guy 08 "at" g mail "dot" com. I'm sure you can read it, I just don't want web crawlers finding my e-mail & sending me everything under the sun! Thanks |

There are forums set up for this sort of thing. You probably need to decide on things like timescales, effort, pay amount, payment method, iteraction, delivery objects....when you're talking about retrieving from remote sites it's not really possible without knowing a lot about the environment so would probably need a lot of connectivity testing which would add to timescales and risk.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.SSIS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
