Hi all

I am trying to set up some personal linked reports in Report Manager. I have a set of 8 dropdown parameters for the main report. The values displayed in some of the dropdown parameters depend on what is selected in other parameters. Standard stuff really. I want to select certain values for each parameter, and then save the report based on the values selected. Is this possible? I havent been able to manage it so far.

To create the linked report, I open the main report, select the parameters I want to save the report with, go into the Properties tab, select 'Create linked report', change location to My Reports, then click OK to create it.
If I then go into Properties to look at the default parameters for the linked report, the values I selected when I created the report are not there. All of the parameter defaults are the same as the defaults for the standard report. Furthermore, I cannot see anything when I click on the dropdown arrow to set the default parameters there to the ones I want again - all of the parameter drodowns are empty.

So can anyone tell me, how do I create a linked report with default parameters which are different from the standard default parameters?
And how can I set the default parameters from within the linked report Properties page, when there arent any values in the dropdown parameters? Do they all have to be typed manually, instead of selected from a dropdown?

No, just create a linked report, with default parameters saved against it of the users choosing.
