| I have taken our production server containing SQL Server 2005, and cloned a duplicate server to be used as a test server.I am unable to connect to the cloned server when using SQL Server Studio 2005. It does not recognize the name of the new server. "CANNOT CONNECT TO SERVERxxxx...."Does SQL Server allow for renaming? Has anyone ever done this before? I am trying to avoid having to reinstall SQL Server 2005 from scratch.Thanks |
