| GOOD DAY TO ALL SQL-SERVER TO SYS-ADMIN. Scenario: Server A1: Windows NT Enterprise. It is also my Primary DNS, and it also an Exchange Server for (LAN) at the same time SQL Server 7.0 Server A2: Windows NT Enterprise at the same time an Exchange Server (for Internet). Server L1 & L2: Are linux servers, this servers serves as Primary & Secondary Domain Controller. This is the setup of our Network Engineer. Problem with the current configuration is on Server A1, it is very loaded. The solution to this to create a new Server and transfer the SQL Server to minimize the load on Server A1. After buying the Server, I decided to install Windows 2000 Advanced Server. It was successful and no problem. I also install the SQL Server 7.0 and successfully transfered the data. The Server is a stand-alone Server. Now I was planning to install MSMQ, but the problem is that it will search for a Domain Controller. But my domain controller are Linux Servers. Can I install MSMQ w/o installing Active Directory? Can somebody give me a complete guidelines for installing / configuring MSMQ in Windows 2000 Advanced Server? |
