Hi guys,
we are going to apply sp3 on our clustered server (sql 2000 , 2 nodes, san).
i have tested the procedure to apply the sp3 pack on our other servers and they are running smoothly, but they are non- clustered servers.
im hesitated to do it on our clustered server bcaz of unforeseen problems.
can any one give me the " step by step wat to do" list for applying sp3 on win2k clustered server

thx in adv....

There is no difference. Just apply the service pack, although I would recommend against applying service pack 3 because of the numerous bugs people have found (we are running service pack 2 with the latest security patches instead). What did you do when you applied service pack 2 to the clustered server? If there was a difference between how you do it on a non-clustered server, then follow the same path that you did when you installed service pack 2.

If you absolutely must apply SP3, the SP3 readme file is the best source of information on installation. Make sure you go thru it thoroughly first, and follow their recommendations on how to install this SP. There're sections about applying it to failover clusters.
