If you are a Database Developer, then most of the technical information shouldn't be a problem. Focus on the company, learn about them and what they do, and respond in a way that highlights how your skill set can be an asset to them. There are thousands of internet links and tips on handling interviews, and every interviewer is different.

There are no real standard technical questions, but expect a few targeted ones. They will know the right answer for their plan before they ask you your opinion, so don't shovel the bulls**t at them.

Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.

Don't exaggerate your skills, don't make up answers if you're not sure, don't be afraid to say 'I don't know'

Nothing is worse in an interview than making up answers.

If you don't know an answer, perhaps explain how and where you would find or learn the answer.
