| hi, when we create database so two files which created are .ldf and .mdf. Suppose if one them has been deleted so what will happen and how can we get it back? |

Hopefully you have a backup. Otherwise, you are not having a good day. Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part. |

Just a note because you are asking in the form of: "Suppose if ...If the SQL Server is running and the database is not detached then the mdf and ldf can't be deleted because the files are in use. No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die. |
