| With a field type of LONG I want to select the field if there is a hard return somewhere in the field. I assume I will be using LIKE, but not sure how to put the argrument value. |

| SELECT * FROM myTable WHERE col1 LIKE '%' + CHAR(13) + CHAR(10) + '%'Above syntax assumes SQL Server and Windows line feeds (CR-LF). SQL Server has text and varchar(max) but not LONG data types, if you're not using SQL Server you may need to adjust syntax or look on website that supports your RDBMS platform. |
