Does anyone know how to check if Excel is running on the server and if so close it? |

Wow...I'd object to even having Excel on a server but once you have it you could probably use powershell and an execute script task:powershell "Get-Process notepad | Stop-Process"This will stop all instances of notepad. You might run in to permission issues though...- LumbagoMy blog-> http://thefirstsql.com/2011/02/07/regular-expressions-advanced-string-matching-and-new-split-function-sql-server-2008-r2/ |
