Hi All,

I am loading the data from ETL tool into SQL server 2008. I basically wants to do the rtrim on my columns. for example There in a column in my table say "City varchar(5)". and there is a row in my source say "abcxyz" which has length 6. So i just want "abcxy" in my target.

Is there any way I can do this automatically on all of my columns? I mean auto RTRIM on row data if it doesn't satisfy the max column length.

Thanks,

Krunal

left (city,5), but it isn't automatic, you have to program it
