| You cannot copy the files (.mdf, .ldf) without stoping the server or detaching the databases. Use Database Maintanence Wizard to schedule and backup the database.Sekar~~~~Success is not a destination that you ever reach. | Instead of using the Database Maintenance Wizard, just create your own BACKUP DATABASE commands so that you have more flexibility. Then schedule these commands by creating a job.Tara |
