| i have 3 one to one to one relationships in a data base im trying to implement and when i insert the foreign keys with no data in the tables they work fine but when i insert them with data they work fine from the sub types to the super type but it they wont work from the super type to the sub type it gives me this error message ORA-02298: cannot validate - parent keys not found: now i know the data is correct there are only 6 numbers and ive checked any ideas? thanks |

...ORA... Are you working in Oracle?You do realize this is a MS SQL Server forum?!?!either way... you would need to provide some helpful information... or maybe even some ddl and sample data (like what you tried)...Corey I Has Returned!! |
