Hi,Just got a new PC at work and having a problem that did not exist on the old machine, nor does it exist on my colleagues' machines. When moving query results to excel using the trusty old copy/paste, fields with text end up in excel with additional spaces. e.g "MYCA" ends up being "MYCA "Any ideas? I am looking for a solution to have the data pasted in correct format rather having to TRIM it all the time. Thanks! |

Not a solution per se, but with Excel, "ASAP Utilities" is a must. If you install that, there is probably a menu item that will remove extra spaces.Hey, it compiles. |
