Hi I'm really new to SQL and I downloaded this application called WAMP for my project. WAMP sort of has its own interface wherein I can type queries there to access my database and stuff. Is there a way for me to automatically update my database while I'm away from my computer? (I'm also new to these forums and I'm not really sure how the system works here) Thanks!

What do you want to do?
Update the database via WAMP? If so you need to check the product documentation.

If the database is sql server and you just want to schedule a query to run automatically then you can use the agent to schedule a job.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
SSIS can be used in a similar way.

Well, I just downloaded WAMP because I wouldn't need to reconfigure APACHE, MySQL and PHP for them to work with each other.

I don't necessarily need to update the database using WAMP. My data will come from a .txt file from a program that interacts with a microcontroller.

Thanks for the reply!!!!

It doesn't sound like you are using Microsoft SQL Server, which is what SQLTeam specializes in.

Oh. I don't use that, but I have that installed. I guess I can also use that. Hahaha.
