| hi,I have MSDE installed on a machine with win2k advanced server.It was working fine for some time but suddenly it has started giving me the following error if i try to connect it through query analyser or if my website accesses the database : SQL server does not exist .currently the msde has sp2.I am downloading sp3 currently.will this help?regards,harshal.Expect the UnExpected |

| When I tried putting an profiler to see the activity what I could see was only locks were aquired and released even when no one was using the database .the locks were not put or released on any specific database or objects it just showed me that lock acquired and lock released.Expect the UnExpected |
