G'day..

Not really a case specific question, but more a general performance query!

If I have a VIEW looking at 4 or 5 "denormalised" TABLEs in my SQL2000 DB, and shortly before selecting from the VIEW each day I DROP and reCREATE one of those TABLES [namely the largest at 27m rows], is the "Execution Plan/Path" of the VIEW rebuilt?

Hasta Luego..

On every schema change, cached plan for said view will become invalid and will be generated from scratch by query optimizer.
