The application that we use allows users to write simple queries through a third party utility. The utility allows for exporting the query results to a csv. However, the functon does not allow an option for exporting without headers, which makes it difficult for end users to import the file without manipulation. Is there a commannd or option I can embed into the statment to automatically get it to write the results to a file, and with no headers?

Thanks!

Dan

It may be a characteristic of the third party utility, but you might try unchecking the Include column headers option in Tools->Options->Query Results -> SqlServer->Results to Grid and Results to Text.

As soon as I finished typing this, I am thinking that that applies only to sending results to SSMS windows, but worth a try anyway.

Unfortunately as an end user I only have access to the Find tool. I can write any SELECT query I like but that's where any flexibility ends.

I know of no feature or facility within a T-SQL query that would allow you to specify that the results of the query should be sent without the column headers.

If you have access to support or knowledge base from the third-party application, that probably would be your best starting point.
