| When i open a table in sql 2005, my columns are not organised and when i open the table i would like to see them ordered by date. I have a column named Date, which is smalldatetime, how would i organise the rows there by date in ascending order so when i open the table they are organised? |

| Use the query editor and write a select statement with an ORDER BY clause, instead of just opening the table with the GUI.SELECT top 100 * FROM yourTable ORDER BY [date] ASC; |

Of course it's possible in SQL... but you are specifically asking if it can be done in an app (probably SSMS - SQL Server Management Studio) and not SQL.quote: Originally posted by codrgiii So it's not possible in sql to do what i asked?
