| i am using SQL 2005.I am importing a flatfile copied from an excel source to sql2005Even though i mention text qualifiers as none,when i load to table i am getting some fields along with the text qualifiers"xxxx".I need to remove this...any solution |

| Are the text qualifiers in the flat file you are loading?If you specify none then these will be considered part of the value and be included - and also the load could fail if a separator is included in the column.It sounds like you should specify " as the qualifier.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.SSIS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
